Kanye West’s 10th studio album Donda pulled in more than 60 million streams in the U.S. during its first 24 hours on Apple Music after its release Sunday.
's release, West also became Apple Music's most-streamed artist and took 19 of the top 20 spots on the streaming service's Daily Top 100 Global songs chart.on Sunday, following a Thursday night listening event held at at Soldier Field in Chicago that was livestreamed on Apple Music.
That event was preceded by two livestreamed listening sessions at Atlanta’s Mercedes-Benz Stadium, which collectively brought out 80,000 fans to hear the project named after West’s late mother who died in 2007 at age 58.garnered over 94 million streams globally, good enough for second place all-time for the streaming service which boasts 365 million monthly users.
