Kante picked up the injury in the second half at Stamford Bridge — a potential blow in Chelsea’s battle to seal a top-four finish in the Premier League. “He’s got a small hamstring injury so we will see how that goes,” Chelsea manager Frank Lampard said of the French midfielder. “A lack of pre-season and we have to rely on the squad. There will be players that come in and can perform for us as well. But it is the same for everybody.”
