The 2023 presidential candidate of the New Nigeria Peoples Party, NNPP, Dr Rabiu Musa Kwankwaso, has said that his party is ready to capture Nigeria in 2027. Kwankwaso stated this while receiving thousands of APC decampees into NNPP at his Millar Road home in Kano.
He said: 'Nigerians, more specifically northerners, have suffered enough and no amount of pressure, fear and attacks will change their minds from changing the narratives. 'Northern Nigeria should rethink their political positions on the position they found themselves; it is clear to everybody that the journey of APC government is clearly against the poor and they will never change on it.
'When the storms of change blow, you will see those who think they have security and INEC running helter-skelter, and Nigerians will make the right choice of those who will soften their unfortunate situation.' Kwankwaso said the receiving of the decampees is historic. 'We are receiving over one thousand decampees from 12 Wards of Dala Local Government Council. This shows that the whole APC structure in the local government has collapsed into NNPP.
