Kanlaon Volcano in Negros Occidental and Negros Oriental emitted moderate plumes that rose up to 500 meters tall in the past 24 hours, the Philippine Institute of Volcanology and Seismology said on Saturday. No volcanic earthquakes were recorded from 5 a.m. Friday to 5 a.m. Saturday.The volcano edifice is inflated, PHIVOLCS added.It reiterated that entry into the four-kilometer radius permanent danger zone is prohibited.
