Kang meets Tobey Maguire's Spider-Man and Hugh Jackman's Wolverine in epic new art inspired by Avengers: Secret Wars. With the Marvel Cinematic Universe's Phase 5 set to kick off next month with Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania, audiences are gearing up to see the Multiverse Saga enter its second act, as the MCU looks set to formally introduce Jonathan Major's Kang the Conqueror.
SCREENRANT VIDEO OF THE DAY With much of what lies ahead in Marvel's Phases 5 & 6 still a mystery, an inspired piece of fan art brings Maguire's Spider-Man and Jackman's Wolverine together to face off with Kang. Created by artist Venomhology, the art sees Kang looming ominously in the background while both Spider-Man and Wolverine's silhouettes can be seen in the foreground.
As for which current heroes are most likely to feature, many of the MCU's biggest hitters are expected to play a vital role, such as Captain Marvel, Doctor Strange, and Tom Holland's Spider-Man, as well as new faces such as She-Hulk, Shang-Chi, and Ms. Marvel. Aside from those that audiences are already acquainted with, Avengers: Secret Wars' ensemble cast will likely feature the Fantastic Four, with their MCU debut currently slated for 2025.
While Kang's villainous run is expected to continue into Avengers: Secret Wars, the much-anticipated project is likely to feature a host of other villains should the storyline follow a similar path to its comic book origins, although details surrounding this remain unclear at this stage. With Avengers: Secret Wars still a long way off, this fan art is undoubtedly an exciting concept that would delight audiences should it come to fruition.
