IPOH: The land where a police quarters and house of the Kamunting police station chief sits belongs to the Titular Roman Catholic Bishop of Melaka.
Perak police chief Comm Datuk Seri Mohd Yusri Hassan Basri said investigations conducted found that the police had been using about 555ha of the land since 1951.
Saifuddin was replying to Zahari Kechik who had wanted to know about the status of the investigation. Comm Mohd Yusri said the police had previously received notification from the church on the status of the land on April 15, 2021, stating that it belonged to them.
