Kota Kinabalu: Persatuan Hotel Malaysia (MAH) Cawangan Sabah/Labuan amat prihatin dengan insiden baru-baru ini di mana pelancong dari China menemui kamera tersembunyi di dalam soket di tempat penginapan mereka.
“Kami ingin menjelaskan bahawa kejadian ini berlaku di hartanah Airbnb, bukan di hotel seperti yang disebut oleh beberapa laman media.“Adalah amat penting bagi pengguna untuk membezakan antara hotel berdaftar dan terkawal dan jenis penyedia penginapan lain,” kata Pengerusi MAH Sabah/Labuan Bab Hafizan Wong dalam satu kenyataan, Isnin. Persatuan itu juga menyatakan bahawa hotel perlu mematuhi garis panduan dan peraturan ketat untuk memastikan kesejahteraan tetamu.
