Seorang kakitangan Jabatan Tenaga Kerja Negeri Sembilan mengaku tidak bersalah di Mahkamah Sesyen di sini hari ini atas 13 pertuduhan menerima suapan berjumlah RM58,720 sejak 2020 hingga tahun lepas.
Penolong Pegawai Perhubungan Perusahaan di JTK Seremban itu dituduh menerima rasuah berjumlah RM58,720 menerusi pindahan wang tunai dan secara dalam talian daripada 12 individu yang merupakan bekas pekerja, pengurus dan pengarah syarikat. Dia didakwa di bawah Seksyen 16 Akta Suruhanjaya Pencegahan Rasuah Malaysia 2009 dan boleh dihukum di bawah Seksyen 24 akta sama yang memperuntukkan penjara maksimum 20 tahun dan denda tidak kurang lima kali ganda nilai suapan atau RM10,000, mengikut mana lebih tinggi, jika sabit kesalahan.
Terdahulu Mohd Azriff Firdaus memohon mahkamah mengenakan jaminan berjumlah RM20,000 dengan syarat tambahan perlu melapor diri di pejabat SPRM terdekat setiap bulan dan pasport disimpan mahkamah sehingga kes selesai.
