Kaizer Chiefs are reportedly targeting Sweden-based midfielder Luke Le Roux in a bid to revamp their midfield. The club is said to be exploring options to bring the 24-year-old back to South Africa after facing difficulties securing other midfield targets like Oswin Appollis and Tshepang Moremi from AmaZulu. A source close to the club revealed that Chiefs are keen on bolstering their midfield with a player who can control tempo, distribute the ball effectively, and break up play.
Le Roux, currently with IFK Värnamo, fits the bill with his strong performances in central zones. However, the possibility of a move depends largely on Le Roux's personal ambitions. While Chiefs have the financial capability to bring him back, as they have done with players like Bernard Parker, Tshepo Masilela, and Keagan Dolly in the past, the final decision rests with the player.
