Kaizer Chiefs setting sights on Polokwane rising star?

The word doing the rounds is that Kaizer Chiefs are setting sights on Polokwane City’s rising star but face competition.

Appolis completed his move to the Polokwane-based club just before the start of the DStv Premiership season where he has impressed with the PSL returnees.

Formerly on the books of SuperSport United, the young winger is said to be on the radar of Chiefs and rivals, Sekhukhune United.Having reportedly signed a two-year deal with Polokwane, the SuperSport youth graduate contract could be allowed to join a big club should either team come up with a good offer.

“Oswin has been doing great for the club, I’m not surprised by the interest he has attracted. He is a very special boy and his work ethic is on another level,” a source tells“He has adapted really quickly. “It will be a huge loss for the club if any of these teams sign him, but at Polokwane they always want the best for their employees,” adds the source.“If a team wants a player and the players wants to leave they will allow him to do that. So, I really wish the best for him.”
