"There's a lot more to this story," Kaitlin Armstrong's attorney said alongside the suspect at her first appearance in court in Austin, Texas. In a statement, Armstrong's legal team alleged her home was vandalized on the night of Wilson's death by an unknown person, and asked why Austin police “seemingly ignored a tip about the former boyfriend of Ms. Wilson.”
Armstrong's attorneys declined to answer questions, including why Armstrong fled the country.
