PETALING JAYA: National men's singles shuttler Justin Hoh captured the Malaysian International Challenge title after stunning senior Aidil Sholeh Ali Sadikin in the final on Sunday (Dec 18).
World No. 312 Justin showed great fighting spirit and determination to come from behind and deny world No. 94 Aidil with a 18-21, 21-16, 21-17 victory in a pulsating final at the Arena Badminton Perak in Ipoh.
It was the 18-year-old's fourth big scalp of the tournament after also upstaging seniors Jacky Kok , Leong Jun Hao and two-time national champion Lim Chi Wing en-route to the final.Article type: free
