) apprehended an 18-year-old suspect on Friday, June 7, for allegedly stealing LED road stud lights from the newly renovated Third Mainland Bridge.
The suspect, Mubarak Abdullahi, a resident of Makoko, was found with ten LED road stud lights, which are installed to enhance road visibility.In recent weeks, bike riders have been deployed on 24-hour patrols to monitor traffic and protect infrastructure on the bridge. CSP Egbeyemi has emphasised the importance of safeguarding public property and ensuring the safety of road users through vigilant policing efforts.
