The Kogi State Chairman of the African Democratic Party , Kingsley Oga, and some members of the party across the three senatorial districts have dumped the governorship candidate of the party, Leke Abejide, for the candidate of the All Progressive Congress , Alhaji Usman Ododo.
He stated, “Among all the governorship candidates for the November 11 governorship election, the candidate of the APC, Alhaji Ododo Ahmed Usman, is the best person fit to be elected as the next governor of the state. He said the efforts of Governor Yahaya Bello towards the development of the state needed somebody that would continue from where he would stop and that was why they decided to support Ododo in the coming election.
Also speaking, Idowu Ibikunlen representing Yagba West state Constituency at the Kogi State House Assembly said he contested as ADC candidate and he won his election.
