A Davao-based website earlier shared that the beta version of GrabCar is now available in Davao City. The screenshot from DavaoBase.com revealed that the both GrabCar 4-Seater and 6-Seater can now be accessed on the Grab"Super App". It also shows that they are trying to book from Gaisano Mall Grocery to Francisco Bangoy International Airport with a starting fare of PHP 276.Previously, only Grab's GrabTaxi service is available in Davao City.

According to Grab the advantages of GrabCar are:With this service, they can enjoy the exclusivity, comfort and reliability of a private car. Tired of metered fares? For GrabCar, once the passenger has placed their pick-up and drop-off locations, the Grab app automatically computes the fares at fixed rates, no need for fare shock.

Our source told us that a Grab agent told him that they are targeting to make this service fully operational by September. Thanks for the tip TekPone Davao and Chester Arceo.
