Former President Muhammadu Buhari is currently in Maiduguri, Borno State, to express his condolences to the government and residents affected by the devastating flooding incident that occurred in September 2024.
Buhari was received at the Maiduguri airport by Governor Babagana Zulum, Senator Ali Ndume, and other political leaders in the state. The statement reads: “Former President Muhammadu Buhari just landed in Maiduguri, Borno State, into the warm hands of Governor Babagana Zulum, Senator Ali Ndume and other political and government leaders in the state.
