Following the declaration of Monday Okpebholo as the winner of the Edo governorship election by the Independent National Electoral Commission , the former President, Muhammadu Buhari has sent his congratulatory message.
The former President expressed hope that the new government led by Okpebholo would work for the good of the Edo people. He also commended the people of Edo State and the electoral commission for diligently carrying out their duties during the elections.
