Rafael Castillo, the SA man who was accused of killing and dismembering a woman with an ax, has been found guilty of murder.
Garon Foster, of the Bexar County crime lab, testifies Tuesday in the 290th District Court during the murder trial of Rafael Castillo, accused of dismembering and killing Nicole Perry, 31, on Nov. 19, 2020.A jury returned a swift verdict Tuesday in the gruesome killing of a San Antonio woman whose hands were hacked off with a machete and an ax buried in her head, convicting Rafael Castillo, 27, of murder.
Two witnesses, including Perry’s boyfriend, last week described being in the room and watching Castillo restrain her with duct tape, chop her hands off with a machete and kill her with an ax blow to the head.
