Roger Stone's new book about the Trump campaign may violate his gag order
The judge in charge of Roger Stone's criminal trial on Friday demanded to know why the court wasn’t made aware of the “imminent general release” of a book that could include discussion of the longtime Trump adviser's legal proceedings, potentially violating a gag order.
Stone was indicted Jan. 24 on charges of lying to Congress about his communications with Wikileaks during the 2016 election and witness tampering. He was arrested early the following morning at his home in Fort Lauderdale, Florida and has pleaded not guilty.
