A judge approved a deal specifying how Tesla must oversee Elon Musk’s use of Twitter, with a list of financial milestones that the CEO can’t tweet about without approval
A federal judge approved a new deal clarifying how Tesla Inc. must oversee Elon Musk’s use of Twitter, an outcome that erases the risk its chief executive would be punished for violating the original agreement.
U.S. District Judge Alison Nathan on Tuesday signed off on the changes after Mr. Musk and the Securities and Exchange Commission agreed to them last week. The modified order specifies a list of financial milestones and other events that Mr. Musk can’t tweet about without preapproval from Tesla lawyers.
