KUALA LUMPUR 25 Mac – Skuad ragbi tujuh sebelah lelaki dan wanita negara tetap membanggakan biarpun hanya muncul juara Plate Kejohanan Kelab-kelab Antarabangsa Borneo Ke-18, 2019 di Sandakan, Sabah, semalam.
Kejayaan muncul juara Plate itu wajar menjadi tonik semangat menjelang misi utama skuad lelaki bimbingan Saizul Hafifi Md. Noor, mempertahankan pingat emas ragbi tujuh sebelah Sukan SEA Ke-30 di Filipina, November ini. Rimau meraih AS$1,500 manakala Panthera Lady bimbingan Nik Safuan Ismade Nik Man yang beroleh AS$1,000 turut membayangkan prospek pingat Sukan SEA nanti setelah menundukkan Singapura 27-0 dalam separuh akhir Plate.
