Holloway was 18 when she was last seen leaving a bar in the Caribbean nation with van der Sloot, then 17, who was never charged in her disappearance. While officials have not been able to confirm the theory, van der Sloot himself has previously claimed to have dumped Holloway’s body at sea.During a hidden camera interview with Dutch journalists Peter De Vries and Patrick van der Eem in 2008, van der Sloot said that Holloway had a seizure while they were having sex on the beach and died.
