KOTA KINABALU: A Chinese New Year gathering jointly hosted by the Federation of Chinese Associations Sabah (FCAS) and the state government will be held on Monday (Jan 23).
FCAS president Tan Sri TC Goh said the guest of honour would be Sabah Governor Tun Juhar Mahiruddin.
Goh, who is also Federation of Chinese Associations Malaysia president, said on Friday that FCAS recently paid a courtesy call on the Chief Minister to brief him on the event. Also present during the courtesy call were FCAS vice presidents Fung Chun Fatt and Lim Vun Chan, treasurer-general Chen Ee Sheng, and political secretary to the Chief Minister Ceasar Mandela Malakun.
