He said Johor Umno will be appointing a lawyer to act on its behalf following the civil forfeiture suit filed by MACC. Hasni, who is the state Opposition chief and also the Benut assemblyman, said Johor Umno aims to be transparent and has nothing to hide from the MACC. “They have yet to find any evidence and the court has yet to make a decision on former prime minister Datuk Seri Najib Razak’s innocence or guilt over the charges against him, but the MACC still went ahead with the civil forfeiture suit,” said Hasni.
