Johor ruler says street protests not the answer

In fact, the Johor rule said such a demonstration is not a responsible way to find a solution and that there were many constructive ways to resolve the matter. “Protesting on the streets is not the Malaysian way. Sultan Ibrahim was referring to a recent statement by DAP central executive committee member Sheikh Umar Bagharib Ali, who urged the public to gather in the streets of Kuala Lumpur to signal their frustration at the government over the rising costs of living.
