JOHOR BARU: Voters, in particular first-time voters, have been urged to come out and cast their ballots.
Malaysian United Democratic Alliance president Syed Saddiq Syed Abdul Rahman, who made this call, added that the voting process was smooth even with standard operating procedures in place to curb Covid-19.
"I came and voted with my family and it took us less than 15 minutes to cast our votes," he said when met at SK Taman Sutera here on Saturday morning."The Election Commission has extended the voting hours till 6pm, so there is enough time." The Muar MP added that it was important for voters to make their voices heard through the ballot box.
