JOHOR BARU: Two local individuals have been arrested to assist in investigations into fraudulent Umrah package schemes reported in Johor.
"The arrests were made on January 18 following their release on police bail by the Selangor Police Contingent after completing a remand period there," he said. "So far, nine police reports have been filed, involving total losses amounting to RM174,080," he added in a statement on Monday .
