SPAN dan kerajaan negeri sedang menyediakan kajian penuh usaha memastikan Johor tidak lagi bergantung kepada bekalan air terawat dari Singapura.
Singapura bayar 3 sen bagi setiap 1,000 gelen air mentah, dan menjual semula air terawat kepada Johor pada kadar 50 sen setiap 1,000 gelen.
“Kita mahu Johor pergantungan sifar dan kita tidak mahu mereka ambil air dari Singapura lagi. Dalam masa yang sama kajian ini memastikan air di Johor mencukupi untuk masa akan datang. Singapura bayar 3 sen bagi setiap 1,000 gelen air mentah, dan menjual semula air terawat kepada Johor pada kadar 50 sen setiap 1,000 gelen.
