Johor exco in charge of consumerism, human resources and unity S Ramakrishnan said today that state menteri besar Osman Sapian has agreed to the allocation of a new plot of land for a Hindu crematorium.
Former Johor menteri besar Mohamed Khaled Nordin had earlier accused the Pakatan Harapan-led Johor government ofwhen it did not approve the initial site allocated by the previous BN government. As Ramakrishnan explained in a statement, the previous site was deemed unsuitable due to its proximity to the Tanjung Langsat port."This is a promise to the Indian community in Johor Bharu, which marks a resolution to the issue," he said.
