The Johor Islamic Religious Department (JAINJ) has seized a total of 11 footwear with Kaabah image sold at a supermarket in the area. The action was taken following a public complaint. The supermarket management has been summoned for questioning and warned to be more careful with their products to avoid touching the sensitivities of the community.

Beliau berkata pihak pengurusan pasar raya terbabit juga sudah dipanggil bagi memberi keterangan selain diberi amaran supaya lebih berhati-hati terhadap produk jualan supaya tidak menyentuh sensitiviti masyarakat.
