JOHOR BARU: The Johor Immigration Department will be carrying out an investigation following a viral video of a woman caught urinating behind a close counter at Bangunan Sultan Iskandar (BSI) Customs, Immigration and Quarantine (CIQ) Complex here.
said the investigation would help determine when the incident took place as the department has yet to receive any reports pertaining to the matter.
“It is wrong to relieve yourself in public especially since BSI is a highly secured government building. “If the person could no longer hold her bladder, then she should have asked for assistance from authorised personnel at BSI to go to the public toilet,” he said when contacted by The Star here on Monday .
In the 23-second video, a personnel caught the woman who had just relieved herself behind an Immigration counter that was closed for upgrading works. The Immigration officer shouted at the woman to stop and clean the “mess” she left behind but the person just walked away from him.
