JOHOR BARU: The state Health department would increase its capacity to better manage the Covid-19 situation here, says Datuk Hasni Mohammad.
The Mentri Besar said that the department would be increasing the number of beds in each Covid-19 ward to 44 in order to cope with the rising number of cases.
He was responding to a tweet highlighting the plight of Covid-19 patients who were placed in tents in front of a hospital. Meanwhile, Tunku Mahkota Johor Tunku Ismail Ibni Sultan Ibrahim tweeted that he would investigate the matter and requested for a report for further actions.
