JOHOR BARU: Johor police are taking proactive measures to ensure smooth traffic flow at the Custom, Immigration and Quarantine (CIQ) Complex in Sultan Iskandar Building here (BSI).
State deputy police chief Deputy Comm M Kumar said similar action would also be taken at the Sultan Abu Bakar Complex at the Second Link in Tanjung Kupang, Gelang Patah.
DCP Kumar said police are anticipating high traffic volume in Johor in conjunction with Hari Raya Aidiladha which falls on Thursday , as well as on the weekend. “We have identified 47 hotspots and 27 black spots statewide where road accidents are likely to happen," he added.
