JOHOR BARU: Four women from India who were forced into becoming sex workers have been rescued, says Johor police chief Comm M. Kumar.
"Police arrested a 32-year-old local male who tested positive for drugs and a 36-year-old woman from India who was the manager of the prostitution den. Comm Kumar added that when the victims arrived in Malaysia, they were locked up and forced to become prostitutes and were paid RM2,300 per month.
