JOHOR BARU: Johor police have arrested 23 youths aged between 15 and 25 years old in a three-day anti-illegal motorcycle racing operation conducted across the state.
“Those arrested are being investigated under Section 42 of the Road Transport Act 1987 for reckless and dangerous driving. A total of 23 motorcycles were seized under the same section, while another 180 motorcycles were impounded under Section 64 of the Act for various offences, including riding without a valid licence, and registration plates or exhaust modifications that do not meet specifications.
