JOHOR BARU: A 21-year-old babysitter has been arrested for allegedly abusing two babies at a childcare centre in Taman Mutiara Rini here.
State police chief Comm Datuk Kamarul Zaman Mamat said the woman was arrested in Bandar Selesa Jaya, Skudai, at around 2am on Tuesday .
“Her actions towards a 11-month-old baby girl and a nine-month-old baby boy were recorded in two video clips spanning 48 seconds and 39 seconds, respectively. In one of the videos, a woman, believed to be the suspect, was seen screaming, spitting and hitting a crying infant.Comm Kamarul Zaman added that the suspect would be brought to the Johor Baru courts to obtain a remand order on Tuesday.
