JOHOR BARU: The police are on the hunt for a man in his 30s believed to the leader of a car thief syndicate known as 'Geng Alan Boy' that has been active for the past two months here.

Seri Alam OCPD Supt Ismail Dollah said that this followed the arrest of all 11 of the gang's members during a raid on Monday at an industrial store at Batu 13, Sungai Tiram. “The syndicate targets second-hand or old cars that are easier to steal before dismantling it and selling the parts in the city,” he said at a press conference at the Ulu Tiram Police Station here Wednesday .

“We found 13 vehicles inside the store with six having been reported missing from several areas in Johor.
