JOHOR BARU: Johor police have busted the “Bobby” drug syndicate that has been active for three months in the Johor Baru and Seri Alam areas.
State police chief Comm Datuk Ayob Khan Mydin Pitchay said 10 raids were carried out between July 27 and July 31 in those areas with 24 suspects arrested.
One of those arrested was a 27-year-old man named Bobby, who was picked up along with his Vietnamese girlfriend, he said. “The couple’s arrest led us to a Chinese national woman who was said to have brought in drugs from Kuala Lumpur for distribution in Johor Baru and Seri Alam,” he told a press conference here on Wednesday .
Comm Ayob added that police also confiscated a variety of drugs such as ecstasy, ganja, ketamine, heroin and syabu from the raids, worth a total of RM425,571.45.Article type: free
