Despite ongoing efforts, Johor Bahru's cleanliness hasn't reached satisfactory levels ahead of the 2026 Tourism Year. Authorities are continuing cleaning initiatives and beautifying infrastructure, urging the public to cooperate in maintaining cleanliness and preventing vandalism.
