The now-retired Ireland rugby legend was treated to an embarrassing moment as the team boarded their flight home from France
Johnny Sexton was on the receiving end of a cruel but hilarious joke as the veteran out-half boarded a flight with Ireland teammates in France following their agonising World Cup exit at the hands of the All Blacks.
Whilst the nation was trying to pick itself up off the ground from Saturday night's crushing blow, Ireland back row Jack Conan was determined to project a positive mood from the team. Tongue in cheek, Conan said: "Everyone move up and congratulate him personally. He'd obviously love that." Sexton has retired on a colossal 1,108 points in 119 matches for Ireland, finishing his career as the country's highest points scorer.
