John Holland has forecast stronger profits in 2023 after rebounding from several years of writedowns and losses linked to Melbourne’s multibillion-dollar Metro Tunnel and West Gate Tunnel projects.
But following financial settlements on both projects, which are forecast to take losses, they are now performing “in line with the commercially re-set positions,” John Holland said in its annual accounts filed with the Australian Securities and Investments Commission.
