The American president has requested a $105 billion national security package that includes military and humanitarian assistance for the conflicts in Ukraine and Israel
Joe Brolly has criticised President Joe Biden over America's decision to give Israel over $14billion in military assistance.The $14.3billion package for Israel includes $10.6 billion for assistance through the Defence Department, including air and missile defence support, as well as $3.7 billion for the State Department to strengthen Israel’s military and enhance US Embassy security.
Brolly also criticised President Biden, who sent him a wedding gift earlier this year, over his decision not to meet with the families of Palestinians killed in the ongoing conflict when he visited the region last week.
"Ursula von der Leyen announced in the past week that they're increasing their aid to Gaza, presumably so the people there can eat and drink while the Israelis bomb them to oblivion."President Biden has pledged 14 billion in state of the art weapons of war for Israel to continue to pummel this defenceless population."I cannot think of anything sicker or more obscene bombing churches, hospitals, indiscriminate slaughter.
"Israel is a rogue state, completely out of control, as described by many leading Jewish academics and thinkers, acting beyond all norms of morality and anything that we could conceive of as decency and humanity.
