This will result in a combination of low water pressure in various suburbs across the city starting from Saturday, leading to no water from next week and throughout the maintenance period.
JOHANNESBURG - As Rand Water's 37-day extensive maintenance project kicks off on Saturday, Johannesburg residents are encouraged to stock up on water before their taps run completely dry.
The city said several water trucks and JoJo tanks would be stationed in specified areas to assist residents. Until 29 July, Johannesburg residents can expect low water pressure due to extensive maintenance on infrastructure.
