PETALING JAYA: A total of 462,860 Covid-19 vaccine doses were administered on Friday (Aug 13), says the Special Committee on Covid-19 Vaccine Supply (JKJAV).
According to JKJAV's figures, which were put out on its Twitter account Saturday , a total of 162,182 people received their first dose of a Covid-19 vaccine, while 300,678 completed both doses.
The most first doses were administered in Johor with 42,339, followed by Selangor , Sabah and Perak . Selangor topped the list of second Covid-19 vaccine doses with 92,782 jabs administered, followed by Kuala Lumpur , Sabah and Penang . JKJAV said this brings the total number of Covid-19 vaccine doses administered in the country to 26,851,765.
It added that as of Friday, 71.4% of the adult population in the country had received one dose of a Covid-19 vaccine, while 43.3% of the adult population had completed both doses.
