The Poconos are going tropical as bare-footed beach singer Jimmy Buffet moves in with a sprawling Margaritavilie branded resort.
The resort village will feature the Margaritaville Hotel Pocono Mountains, a LandShark Bar & Grill, Camp Margaritaville with RV sites and cabins, a Margaritaville retail store, a Fins Up Fitness Center, a Cheeseburger in Paradise Restaurant, a Fin City Game Room and a 5 o’Clock Somewhere Swim-Up Bar.
For those who want a place of their own in Margaritaville, there will be Tiny Homes Bungalows with a cabin feel, stone fire pits and country patios; townhomes, 1,000 “build to rent” cottages. For fun seekers, there will be LandShark Tube Slide Runs, a License to Chill Ice Pond with an ice bar and coffee and hot chocolate stand, and a winter market will feature stands and shops with gifts, baked goods and crafts. All this, according to the company press release, cited by the Citizens Voice.Margaritaville, the growing resort chain inspired by pop singer-songwriter Jimmy Buffett, will open a resort village where the famed Pocono Manor once stood.
