Executive Chairman of the commission, Mr. Auwal Harbo said this while briefing newsmen at the commission's headquarters, Dutse.
reported that the JISIEC had fixed October 5, 2024, for the conduct of the election. Harbo explained that only the All Progressives Congress, APC, filled all candidates for council chairmen and councillors across the state. According to him, APC filled 27 candidates, while NNPP and the PDP filled in some local governments areas. 'We have concluded all the necessary preparations for the free, and credible electoral process.
