Shahrol Azral, 49, berkata demikian ketika memberi keterangan dalam prosiding bicara kes skandal 1Malaysia Development Berhad membabitkan bekas Perdana Menteri itu.
Saksi berkata, beliau melihat sendiri Jho Low sebagai fasilitator antara Yang di-Pertuan Agong ke-13, Sultan Terengganu, Sultan Mizan Zainal Abidin dan Najib yang mewakili kerajaan pusat. Terdahulu, Shahrol Azral, beliau mengenali Jho Low ketika lelaki itu menjadi salah seorang pelanggan di tempat beliau bekerja di sebuah syarikat konsultan di Kuala Lumpur sekitar tahun 2007.
Shahrol Azral berkata, ketika itu, beliau baru mengetahui bahawa Jho Low mencadangkan namanya kepada Sultan Mizan Zainal Abdidin yang ketika itu Pengerusi TIA untuk dilantik sebagai salah seorang pengarah. Menurutnya, idea penubuhan TIA itu dimulakan oleh Sultan Mizan Zainal Abidin bersama dengan penasihat iaitu Jho Low.
