PETALING JAYA: Low Taek Jho atau Jho Low dan lima lagi yang dikaitkan dengan skandal 1MDB masih dalam senarai orang dicari dalam notis merah Interpol.
Bagaimanapun, Menteri Dalam Negeri, Datuk Seri Saifuddin Nasution Ismail berkata, sehingga kini tiada satu daripada 195 negara anggota Interpol yang dapat mengesahkan keberadaan Jho Low. Lima lagi yang dicari ialah Terence Geh, Casey Tang, Jasmine Loo, Nik Faisal Ariff Kamil dan Eric Tan. “Sehingga ke hari ini, polis Malaysia masih menjalinkan kerjasama dengan Biro Penyiasatan Persekutuan , Amerika Syarikat, pihak berkuasa Singapura dan agensi penguatkuasaan negara lain yang turut menjalankan siasatan ke atas dana milik 1MDB,” katanya dalam jawapan dimuat naik di laman sesawang Parlimen.
Saifuddin berkata, pertuduhan telah difailkan secara absentia di mahkamah terhadap Jho Low dan lima yang lain di Mahkamah Majistret Putrajaya dan Kuala Lumpur. – UTUSAN
