A frozen dessert franchise is coming to Alabama, as part of an expansion throughout the Southeast. Jeremiah’s Italian Ice plans to open locations in Birmingham and Madison later this year.

Each store offers more than 40 rotating flavors of Italian ice, as well as soft ice cream. A synthesis of these two products, Jeremiah’s Gelati, has layers of Italian ice and soft ice cream. Jeremiah’s has awarded more than 225 franchise units since 2019, and projects to grow by 45 by the end of the year.
