Colts interim coach Jeff Saturday did not hide his emotions about the play that ended Nick Foles' season and Kayvon Thibodeaux's snow angel 'tasteless' celebration as the quarterback writhed on the ground.
Not only was Saturday not a fan of the celebration, but he also had words for his own players who allowed the celebration to happen without recourse.
It creates a conversation Saturday must have with his players and specifically his linemen, the group he works closest with as the interim coach.Saturday played 13 years as a center for the Colts, reaching five Pro Bowls, winning a Super Bowl and landing in the Ring of Honor as the man setting protections for Peyton Manning.
On Sunday, Thibodeaux told reporters that he wasn't aware that Foles was hurt while he was celebrating on the ground. Except Thibodeaux's celebration didn't end with the snow angel. As the cart was coming out and Foles still lay on his back on the turf, Thibodeaux did a"sleep" gesture with his hands to the crowd.
